Mechatronics engineer graduated from EPUSP in 2003, she completed her doctorate in riser dynamics at the same institution in 2010. After receiving a postdoctoral certificate on riser fatigue in 2011, she went to Norway to work at Aker Solutions AS, manufacturer of umbilicals for the oil industry. At Aker she worked as a specialist engineer in computational dynamics of umbilicals in the riser group at the Bergen office.

All the experience acquired during the academic period was of extreme importance for the work in the oil industry, just as the experience outside the academic environment is important for the work developed as a researcher in LMO, where she works since the beginning of 2018.
